Coffee does not age like wine and tastes better fresh (that's why we roast to order), but like most things, keeping your beans or grinds in a dry airtight container will keep them fresher longer. The geniuses at the Japanese company Hario have made this container to lock in flavour and lock out moisture. It has a sealing knob which secures the lid, but has a secondary function of letting you sniff your beans like a goblin without having to open the whole thing - just in case you miss the smell.
